We are here to reimagine sustainable agriculture across the ecosystem. We are open to all ideas—no limits, no borders. We make choices that create lasting, holistic value for the entire ecosystem.
We display empathy and care for the communities we serve and the planet we live on. We connect often and meaningfully with the grassroots.
We like to think big in everything we do—goals, effort and impact. We pursue audacious goals rather than incremental targets. Yet, we believe failure creates learning, so we treasure our failures.
We like to iterate and learn. We frequently experiment while being grounded in reality. We set an exceptionally high bar to plan what we aspire for, and to execute what we plan.
We like to own the outcomes we are responsible for. We trust people to do the right thing, and we uphold the trust they place in us. We go beyond our role to build our organisation and help our people become better versions of themselves.
We value diversity and openness in people and ideas. We believe in a culture of ideas over hierarchy. We evaluate opportunities based on merit and demonstrate transparency in everything we do.
The three main pillars that keep me motivated are the people, culture and the tech stack. Building an organisation like nurture poses a unique challenge. Even though we are developers, we still get to understand the business. We work closely with our product and design teams and make every release impactful. We are not just trying to solve problems. Instead, we are trying to change the agro-ecosystem and deliver impact. I am getting the best of both worlds, nurture.farm is my happy place.
I know not a lot of people are fortunate enough to say their career is something they’re passionate about—this has been the fundamental thing that helps me get up and work. Having a very supportive and understanding team and the kind of dedication those around you who work with you day in day out also fuels you immensely because you realise, you’re working towards the same goal and to put your best foot forward.
I have been at nurture.farm for over a year and a half. I am working on cutting edge technology, building multiple systems from scratch, learning, unlearning, and growing every day. I get to see how every small change impacts the lives of millions of farmers positively. And I am thrilled to be one of the few bringing about this change.
Time flies by. It’s already been a year since I joined nurture.farm. I feel nostalgic, proud, and happy when I look back at my journey. It’s surreal. I have got an opportunity not just to hone my skills as a Software Engineer but learn about different facets of building & scaling a tech platform that’s impacting millions of lives & will possibly change the way we cultivate. One of the biggest learnings from my time here has been, “Technology platforms are successful not because they imbibe the coolest tech stack or solve a problem for its user. They are successful because of how well they solve a problem”. At nurture.farm, I am getting to work with the brightest minds, who have a different perspective to mine, and who help me grow as an engineer & as a person. nurture.farm is not a place of employment, it’s a movement, and I am glad that I am a part of it.
Be a part of the team that makes agriculture more sustainable
